EL1 Cleared Plumber – Woking
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable EL1 Cleared Plumber to join a facilities maintenance team on a temporary or contract basis in Woking. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified plumber with previous secure-site experience to work within a professional custodial environment.
Duties Will Include:
- Carrying out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing faults across domestic and commercial systems
- Installing and maintaining pipework, sanitaryware, and water services
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations
- Working efficiently within a secure prison environment
- Completing maintenance records and compliance paperwork accurately
Requirements:
- Valid EL1 Security Clearance (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)
- Previous experience working within prisons or secure sites preferred
- Strong maintenance and fault-finding experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence preferred

- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
