Pipefitter/Welder

Location: Burntwood (WS11)

Rate: £32ph (Personal CIS)

Hours: 10 hours a day (07:00-17:30)

Contract: 10 weeks’ initially

Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting for Pipefitter/Welders to join our client who are a market-leading Engineering Contractor working on-site in Burntwood.

As a Pipefitter/Welder, you will be required to fit Stainless Steel Process Pipework to a high standard (within Dairy Pipework) and Orbital Welding.

Please note - You will be required to do an initial Weld Test (2” 2G Wired and Unwired).

  • Sheet Metal Fabrication and Reading from technical drawings.

Pipefitter/Welder Requirements:

  • A Valid CCNSG Site Safety Card.
  • 2-3 years’ experience as a Pipefitter/Welder (within Food & Bev/Dairy, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical settings).
  • Proven knowledge in Sch Stainless steel Pipefitting and Orbital Welding.
  • You must have your own gear, PPE, overalls and tools.
