Vehicle Technician Vacancy – Gloucester

Our client, a well-established franchise-approved car dealership in Gloucester, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department.

Duties:

• Conduct fault diagnosis, vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
• Ensure all faults are accurately diagnosed and reported to the Workshop Controller
• Maintain vehicle safety, reliability, and performance through high-quality workmanship
• Adhere to health and safety protocols and quality procedures at all times
• Work efficiently within a team to meet productivity targets
• Keep thorough records of work carried out and parts used
• Assist with vehicle inspections and roadside diagnostics as required
• Support colleagues in a professional, customer-focused environment

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Valid UK driving licence
• Preferably hold an active MOT licence
• Ability to produce high-quality work within a fast-paced environment
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Motivated individual with a proactive approach to work
• Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of Gloucester
• Previous experience working within a franchise dealership is advantageous but not essential
