Electrical Shift Engineer – City of London
Location: City of London
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days Only)
Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading building services provider at a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking for a stable days-only shift role with strong earning potential, training opportunities, and genuine career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
- Fault finding and repair of electrical plant and associated building services equipment
- Working on LV systems, lighting, emergency lighting, UPS, generators, AHUs, FCUs, and BMS systems
- Ensuring all statutory compliance and health & safety procedures are followed
- Supporting subcontractors and specialist service providers on site
- Completing maintenance records and reports accurately using CAFM systems
- Providing excellent client-facing service at all times
Requirements
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition qualified
- Experience working within commercial building maintenance environments
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and client-facing abilities
- HV/AP qualifications beneficial but not essential
