Semi-Skilled PSV / HGV Technician
Location: Norwich
Pay Rate: £34000 per hour + Overtime
39 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a Semi-Skilled PSV / HGV Technician to join a busy and modern workshop in Norwich, working on a fleet of buses and coaches. This is a great opportunity for somebody looking to develop their skills within the PSV industry and progress their career with a well-established operation.
The successful candidate will assist qualified technicians with the maintenance, servicing and repair of buses and coaches while gaining further hands-on experience in a professional workshop environment.

Duties & Responsibilities of the HGV Technician / PSV Technician

• Carrying out routine servicing and inspections on buses and coaches
• Assisting with mechanical repairs and fault finding
• Working on brakes, suspension, steering and basic electrical systems
• Supporting MOT preparation and vehicle safety inspections
• Maintaining high workshop and health & safety standards
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to company standards

Requirements of the HGV Technician / PSV Technician

• Previous experience working on PSV, HGV, LGV or automotive vehicles
• Basic mechanical knowledge and workshop experience
• A strong willingness to learn and develop
• Ability to work well within a team
• Full UK driving licence preferred
